Non governmental Organisation, Trinitas Foundation Africa has provided food relief and economic support to 6000 families in Lagos. Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Ade George, also canvassed for greater agricultural investment in Nigeria as a lasting solution to poverty in the nation.
Themed “Christmas Cheer 2021,” the initiative was set up to restore the hope and spirit of Christmas through the provision of food items, household items, educational materials, and monetary aid to underprivileged families. George added that the foundation also offers entrepreneurship and women empowerment in its battle against hunger and poverty, adding that partnering with Eti Osa Local government, hundreds of beneficiaries and volunteers were vaccinated at the event.
