 The Conversation cafe is an initiative that fosters alternative education sessions and interactive dialogues on pressing issues affecting the community for the sake of self/community development. We recognize the world’s 1.1 billion girls as a part of a large and vibrant global generation poised to take on the future. We recognize how girls’ progress is good not only for girls, but also for families, communities and society at large and in honour of The International Day Of The Girl Child we are set to host girls within the ages of 13-21 to celebrate them and instill the power of positive relationships.
The theme for the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD is "Striving for peace and a decent life for all on a sustainable planet". It is slated to hold on Wednesday, the 11th of October 2017 in Lagos Nigeria. The session features four panel sessions with inspiring speakers and a general session, it also features personal affirmation activities, amidst activities like spoken words renditions and other motivating exercises that would prompt you to take actions.
