Simi Fajemirokun, the founder of R2S (Read 2 Succeed) Africa, is on a mission to revolutionise the quality of public primary education in Nigeria. Read 2 Succeed is a non-profit organisation committed to improving the literary level among children in public primary schools.
The organisation recently launched an initiative known as The Dreamers project, which is based on developing the imaginations of the students. The dreamers project is designed to teach public school students in primary 6, the power of their imaginations. It is basically a visual representation of the students' dreams. The goal of the initiative is to get students to understand the education choices that will prepare them for a world of work. Simi Fajemirokun is a research and education consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Politics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. She is also a 2012 World Economic Forum Global Shaper.
