Ray of Hope Empowerment Foundation launches the PAD A GIRL Initiative

Ray of Hope Empowerment foundation has launched the PAD A GIRL initiative which is directed at providing young girls with quality menstrual hygiene products.

This initiative was borne out of the need to help protect the dignity of the girl child and also to enhance comfort and hygiene during menstrual periods.

In commemoration of menstrual hygiene day, the organisation plans to distribute 2000 packs of sanitary towels to  2000 girls, who are students of government secondary schools in Bakori and Zaria in Northern Nigeria, respectively.
