A Non Governmental Organisation, Youth New Club, formerly known as Youth Network for Change, in conjunction with BAA Foundation, recently graduated over 400 Nigerians with different entrepreneurial skills through its skill acquisition and empowerment programme, SAEP, in Lagos. The programme in its second edition, which had as its theme, “Empowering the Youths through SAEP”, is aimed at eradicating poverty and creating employment opportunity for Nigerian youth.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony, the coordinator, Akande Akinbode said that the aims of the organization are to eradicate unemployment and create employment. The organization trains people to become employers of labour as a way of eradicating poverty. The NGO is non partisan, hence they do not have any political affiliations, neither do they receive funds from any political party.
