Some children were recently the beneficiaries of the kind gesture of a non-governmental organisation, The Bluebaby Support Initiative (BBS), which presented them with reading materials, school uniforms, school bags and sandals, among others. The children are pupils of Arowosegbe Nursery and Primary School Ketu, Lagos, Ansar-Ud Deen Primary School, Ososami, Ibadan in Oyo State and Oyedoyin Orphanage Home, also in Oyo State.
The founder of the NGO, Mrs Aisha Dania Ogieriakhi, while appreciating God for His faithfulness, encouraged the students to be focused. She told them that many successful and important personalities in the society were able to achieve their goal and rose to the peak of their careers, despite being from humble backgrounds. According to her, the programme is a part of service to humanity, to add value to the lives of the downtrodden, and give hope to the hopeless. Donors and volunteers were welcome to galvanise constructive ideas and opinions for the good of society. It was a successful outing and the Initiative appreciates everyone that supported the programme, especially families, friends, and officials of Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), among others, present at the programme. Let us all thank Mrs. Aisha Dania Ogieriakhi for her kindness and generosity towards these kids. We can see how passionate she is when it comes to helping people. How I wish all people would have such a huge heart like that because is our responsibility to help kids who are in need. We need to help them build a future; a bright future that they deserve because all kids deserve to have that. These NGO must be supported all the time!
