A non-governmental Organisation (NGO), The Candlelight Foundation, held a ‘Walk Against Hunger’ in Lagos to raise funds for the needy. Supported by Providus Bank, FBN Mortgages, Indomie Noodles, among others, the non-profit soup kitchen noted that the idea was an elongation of its free meals and other charitable acts to hundreds of starving persons in Nigeria’s economic capital.
The event held on May 4 after its novelty football match on April 19. In a statement, the foundation’s executive director, Uzoamaka Okeke, said the foundation is working on two projects at the moment. The Football over Hunger match and the annual Walk Against Hunger. The football match was between two organisations in the Fintech industry: FINT and Pagatech on April 19. Source: Guardian

Nothing but full appreciation for there goodness of The Candlelight Foundation for they have organized the event that would help the needy Nigerians. "Walk Against Hunger" was said to be a huge success because a lot of people supported it. Actually, it was a success already even if it was not yet starting because the people who made it organized this because they came up with this with a clean heart. All they want to do is to help and make an important change. That alone is the reason why they should be blessed even more.
