Introducing Greenera Technologies: The Pocket Friendly Power Solution

​The lack of access to affordable and reliable power supply by a large majority of the Nigerian populace has greatly impeded the prospects of the nation’s economical and overall growth and development.

Greenera Technologies (G-Tech) has come up with an environmental friendly, cost effective and easy to access solution to a power source. They build stand-alone solar powered energy systems available for use in homes, offices, student lodges, etc.
 

Nigeria has a population of over 180 million people. Yet, over 95 million Nigerians lack adequate power supply. Efforts have been made to tackle this challenge; however, the available options are expensive, inadequate or inaccessible to all.
 
For these reasons, people rely majorly on fossil fuel powered energy sources such as paraffin and kerosene lamps, diesel and petrol powered generators. Initial purchase cost of these are usually low but their negative impact and cost of fuelling is high. For instance, according to W.H.O, inhaling the fumes from paraffin and kerosene lamps is equivalent to smoking two packs of cigarettes in a day.
 
In order to solve this problem Greenera Technologies has created these solar powered devices that are affordable sources of clean energy.
 
The company has two models of the product. They are:

1. GT200 which costs N55 000
2. GT300 which costs N70 000

 
Both models come with a standing fan that lasts up to 12 hours.
