DigifyPRO Nigeria is a not-for-profit initiative that has concluded plans to train 20 Nigerian graduates between the ages of 20 to 30 years, who are not currently in full-time employment with key skills to enter the digital workplace. DigifyPRO is an eight-week intensive digital marketing training programme facilitated by Digify Africa and supported by Facebook, which will involve live briefs workshops/presentations and placement.
The programme is designed to give trainees practical hands-on experience. Topics covered will also include, vocational and workplace skills, agency processes, customer care, client services and digital marketing. Others include analytics and measurement; Social Media, Brand Reputation Management; Content and Email marketing; User Experience, Paid advertising, Search Engine Optimization among others. Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, Head, Strategy, Digify Africa, Qhakaza Mthembu, said DigifyPro started in South Africa with intent of giving young people opportunity to flourish.
