Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation: The NGO that supports NGOs

​Aspire Coronation Trust (ACT) Foundation is a nonprofit grant making organization established in 2016 to support local, national and regional non - profit organizations working to address challenges and associated vulnerabilities across the African Continent. 

The Foundation seeks to promote broad based participation/partnership with other institutions and/or donor organizations aimed at building sustainable communities and to provide innovative solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges.

ACT Foundation’s Vision is to leverage relationships to create effective social impact solutions across Africa, and they go about fulfilling this by their mission to build sustainable societies by engaging initiatives that unleash potential and empowers beneficiaries.
Key objectives of the foundation include:

• Facilitating learning and growth across the social enterprise value chain as well as host communities.
• Promoting social impact initiatives through health, entrepreneurship, environment and leadership.
• Engaging stakeholders who proffer solutions to challenges associated with host communities across our focus areas.
• Creating a broad based partnership with other institutions or donor organizations aimed at building sustainable communities.
• Enabling and supporting nonprofit organizations in the region to build capacity, thereby catalyzing socio economic development across all areas of interest.

ACT Foundation’s interventions are focused on four key areas, where they support initiatives in the areas parenthesized

• Health (Malaria, Maternal Health Care and Cancer)
• Entrepreneurship (Vocational Education and Financial Inclusion & Literacy)
• Environment (Waste Management)
• Leadership

ACT Foundation implements its works by partnering with Non Governmental Organizations and Community Based groups in Nigeria and Africa at large. They support organizations in the non -profit sector in two ways:

1. Grant Making (See details of the 2017 Grant Here)
2. Capacity Building and Training to ensure sustainability of partner organizations.

​In 2017 alone, 22 NGOs were awarded with the ACT Foundation Grant to support them in making positive impact in the focus areas.
