The TEF forum 2018 is acclaimed to be the largest gathering of African entrepreneurs. The 2018 edition of the TEF forum held on October 25, 2018 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island , Lagos. The TEF FORUM is an event designed to connect Africa’s most promising entrepreneurs to the thriving investment and entrepreneurship-advocacy communities in Africa.
At the TEF forum the World’s Largest Digital Platform for African Entrepreneurs, TEFconnect, was launched. TEFconnect, (available on mobile and web), will enable entrepreneurs do the following: 1. Buy and sell in a thriving market place. 2. Access to free business tools. 3. Network with potential investors for funding opportunities. The event featured the TEF founder’s dialogue, where the founder of TEF, Tony Elumelu, moderated a dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya and President Nana Akudo-Addo of Ghana. This dialogue presented an opportunity for entrepreneurs to engage directly with our leaders on the development of the continent. At the event entrepreneurs were also given the opportunity to take part in a pitching competition where they took centre stage to pitch their ideas to a panel and over five thousand guests.
