With Nigeria’s youthful population representing one of the country’s greatest opportunities for national development, initiatives focused on equipping young people with practical skills, leadership capacity, and access to opportunities continue to play an important role in shaping the nation’s future. Against this backdrop, Ambassador Oseni Gbolahan, Founder of the Oseni Gbolahan Empowerment Foundation, has continued to champion youth development through empowerment programmes, mentorship, leadership initiatives, and platforms designed to help young Nigerians translate their potential into meaningful impact.
Through the foundation, Ambassador Oseni Gbolahan has focused on creating opportunities that go beyond motivational speeches, providing young people with knowledge, skills, mentorship, and exposure needed to navigate an increasingly competitive economic and social environment. His approach centres on developing young people as future leaders, entrepreneurs, wealth creators, and contributors to community development, with the broader goal of enabling individuals to become catalysts for positive change in their communities and the country at large. The vision was further demonstrated at the UVRG BOT 2026 Youth Empowerment Conference, held at the National Centre for Women Development in the Central Business District, Garki, Abuja. The conference was organised by the Oseni Gbolahan Empowerment Foundation in partnership with The Ultimate Vibrant Consult Ltd, and brought together more than 2,000 young Nigerians from different parts of the country. The gathering provided a platform for young participants to engage with ideas around personal development, leadership, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for growth. It also underscored the growing demand for initiatives that place young people at the centre of conversations about Nigeria’s future. For many of the participants, the conference represented more than a single empowerment event. It served as an opportunity to gain new perspectives, connect with other young Nigerians, and explore pathways for turning individual potential into practical outcomes. Source:PM NEWSPAPER
