The initiative was carried out in honor of the foundation's late founder, Prof. Nuhu Ango. Speaking on the gesture, Hajiya Asabe Garba, Zonal Coordinator of the Federal Resource Centre in Minna and wife of the late founder, emphasized that the support aligns with her husband's lifelong commitment to assisting the less privileged.

Beyond financial aid, the foundation has also empowered 100 individuals through skill acquisition programs in computer training, shoemaking, bakery, and ICT, equipping them with starter packs to foster self-reliance. Additionally, NAF has contributed educational materials to schools and regularly supports widows with food and financial assistance during festive seasons.

Commending the foundation’s efforts, the Emir of Minna, Alhaji (Dr.) Umar Farouk Bahago—represented by Mabudin Minna, Alhaji Abubakar Bosso—praised the late Prof. Ango’s dedication to education and improving the welfare of the underprivileged.
