Over 250 residents of Abeokuta and Efuye communities in Ogun State have received food items through an outreach organized by the Feed A Mouth Initiative, a nongovernmental organization. The distributed items included staples such as rice, garri, and semolina, aimed at alleviating the struggles faced by many due to ongoing economic challenges.
In a statement on Saturday, the initiative's coordinator, Opeyemi Adeniyi, highlighted the organization's commitment to supporting vulnerable and elderly individuals in the state. Adeniyi assured that the group would continue to seek opportunities to mitigate the effects of the current economic hardship on affected communities. "This intervention reflects our dedication to easing the burden of Nigerians facing severe economic conditions," Adeniyi stated. Source: PUNCHNG
