Rising Child Foundation Launches Digital Skills and AI Ethics Initiative for Youth Organizations

Rising Child Foundation, a youth-centered non-profit organization, has unveiled a new capacity-building programme aimed at enhancing digital literacy and promoting the ethical application of artificial intelligence (AI) among youth-led civil society organizations in Nigeria’s South-West region.

The initiative, titled "Enhancing Digital Skills and AI Tools for Civic Engagement and Good Governance," was formally introduced during a workshop held on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, Taibat Hussain, Executive Director of Rising Child Foundation, emphasized that the programme represents a strategic effort to bridge the digital divide and address the ethical complexities arising within Nigeria’s civic landscape.

According to the Foundation, the workshop marks the launch of a broader project designed to equip emerging leaders with the practical skills, critical knowledge, and ethical frameworks needed to leverage AI responsibly for social development and positive civic engagement.
