The Jedidiah Divine Home of Love (JEDLOF), a non-governmental organization (NGO), has fully covered the National Examinations Council (NECO) registration fees for 20 final-year secondary school students, totaling over ₦700,000. The beneficiaries included 10 students from Ikeja High School and another 10 selected from various schools.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, JEDLOF founder, Dr. Ebele Okoye, emphasized that the initiative aligns with her divine calling to support those in need. She noted that while the organization initially intended to sponsor students' WAEC and JAMB fees, it pivoted to NECO after realizing that registration for the other exams had closed. Dr. Okoye encouraged the beneficiaries to excel academically, urging them to justify the foundation’s investment with outstanding results. JEDLOF coordinator, Mrs. Peace Okoye, highlighted that the NECO sponsorship is one of four key initiatives planned for the year under the organization’s outreach program. She reiterated JEDLOF’s commitment to education and assured the students that their performance would be monitored. Source:RADIO NIGERIA
