On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, Giving Tuesday Nigeria held the first-ever generosity festival in Nigeria. The theme for the Giving Festival 2025, “Where Generosity Takes Center Stage”, truly came alive as the event was the biggest gathering for generosity in Nigeria. Non-profits, corporate partners, organizations, volunteers, community members, and brands all came together in one location to do good for 1,500 beneficiaries. The festival showcased the heart of social good in Nigeria, making sure people received food, healthcare services for both young and old, clothes, shoes, sanitary pads for women and girls, school materials for children, and so much more.
The festival took off in Bariga, Lagos State, with numerous non-profit partners, volunteers, media partners, and community members ready to serve every beneficiary with love. The Giving Festival featured several non-profit stands where beneficiaries could walk in, request the items they needed, and be attended to with care and compassion. Children were not left out, they received books and participated in practical skill-building activities. With over 10 stands and a wide variety of resources available, the festival ensured that everyone had access to something meaningful.
