De-Lace International Partners with Tukur-Tukur Foundation to Launch Free Medical Outreach in Kaduna6/5/2025 In a major humanitarian initiative, De-Lace International, in partnership with the Tukur-Tukur Foundation, has launched a free medical outreach program in Kaduna, aimed at providing critical healthcare services to underserved communities. Speaking at the launch, Col. Haruna Idris Zaria (rtd), Chairman of the Tukur-Tukur Foundation, reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to delivering humanitarian assistance across Nigeria. According to Col. Zaria, the initiative seeks to offer medical relief to vulnerable and underprivileged populations through a range of free services.
“The Tukur-Tukur Foundation conducts free eye screenings and cataract surgeries, treats minor eye conditions with medications and ointments, and distributes reading glasses at no cost,” Col. Zaria stated. “We also provide mobility aids such as wheelchairs and crutches to people with physical disabilities, helping to improve their daily lives.” In addition to healthcare services, the foundation is extending support in the education sector by distributing free school materials, including uniforms, textbooks, and exercise books. Religious books are also provided to promote spiritual well-being.
