CAIN Africa is making strategic changes to deepen its impact. After a careful review of its 2024 Annual Report, the organization is retiring two long-standing initiatives, the Christmas Benevolence Program and the Akaeze Summer Program, to focus on more sustainable efforts. The report revealed that women who received business grants increased their income fourfold, prompting a shift from short-term aid to long-term empowerment through business funding and support for underprivileged women.
The Monthly Food Drive will continue, ensuring urgent needs are still met. In place of the Akaeze Program, CAIN Africa is launching GUTS (Girls Utilizing Technology for Society), a new initiative to equip young women (ages 16–30) with in-demand digital skills to start online businesses and secure remote jobs. Since 2018, the Akaeze Program has impacted 299 students. Now, CAIN Africa is building on that legacy with bold, future-focused programs. Want to partner, fund, or contribute resources?
