 In commemoration of World Malaria Day 2025, the Civil Society on Malaria Control, Immunisation and Nutrition (ACOMIN) in Niger State has initiated a free malaria testing and treatment campaign for hundreds of residents in Minna, the state capital. World Malaria Day, observed annually on April 25, aims to raise global awareness and action against malaria. This year’s theme, "Malaria Ends With Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite," calls for renewed and innovative efforts to eliminate the disease worldwide.
Speaking at the event, ACOMIN State Coordinator, Mr. Olasukanmi Kalejaiye, noted that this year’s activities focused on the Bosso community, where residents received malaria sensitisation alongside free testing and treatment services. Source: TRIBUNE NG
